I have photographed this corner store many times. It is one of the last corner stores remaining in my neighborhood. The rest have be demolished for new developments.
Inspiration for this composition came from a drawing, done of the same store, I found in the @glebereport done by the artist Bhat Boy in the late 80’s.
The first photograph was made in the spring of 2016 on 4x5 Fuji Provia and the second photo was made in summer 2014 on 8x10 Fuji X-ray film. I prefer the composition of the black and white with more of the store visible.
